 Set in 1960's Alabama, the trajectory of two families is altered when an unlikely friendship is forged between two college students of different races.  Tragedy ensues when a false perception of the nature of their friendship is made. This deeply moving show is relatable today as society continues to struggle with racial strife and homophobia.
